The 1978/79 champions of Division Two only lost just four games in a campaign that culminated on a tense and atmosphere filled Friday evening against Burnley in front of 51,482 at Selhurst Park.
Going into the final game of the season against Burnley, Palace needed a single point to confirm promotion, while a win would see them claim the Division Two title.
Goals from Ian Walsh and Dave Swindlehurst sent us into the top flight and saw us crowned champions of Division Two.

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
Items can be returned for a refund or size exchange within 30 days of receipt, provided they are new, unused and in their original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
Personalised items, including shirt printing, cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty or arrive damaged. Faulty items must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Socks and ear studs can only be returned if unopened. We do not accept returns on boxer shorts or gift cards.
Exchanges are subject to availability. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
